Developing Future Leaders in Logistics
States Logistics Services, Inc. collaborated with Arizona State University (ASU) to offer an in-person experience for their W.P. Carey School of Business Master of Global Logistics students. This marked ASU’s seventh visit to our facilities, where 70 plus students engaged with our team of logistics professionals and ask questions.
During the visit, students were able to gain valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a 3PL solutions company. They had the opportunity to observe our warehouse and distribution processes in action, as well as interact with our team members and ask questions about their roles and responsibilities.
In addition, States Logistics provided a presentation on industry trends and challenges, giving the students a deeper understanding of the current state of the logistics industry. This gave them real-world context for what they were learning in their coursework at ASU.
The collaboration between States Logistics and Arizona State University was mutually beneficial. Our team members enjoyed sharing their knowledge and experiences with the students, while also gaining fresh perspectives from these future leaders in the field of logistics.
In addition to our collaboration with ASU, States Logistics is committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and advancements. We regularly attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on the latest technology, strategies, and best practices in logistics. Our team members are also encouraged to pursue continued education and training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
